Ingredients:-
-Chicken cut into 4 pieces.
-Hummus cup.
-Half a kilo of Maftoul.
-One tablespoon of Vegetable Oil.
-A large Onion cut into slices.
-A teaspoon of Cumin.
-A teaspoon of Dry Coriander.
-A teaspoon of Ginger powder.
-Cinnamon Stick.
-Laura Leaf, or what is known as Bay Leaf.
-One tablespoon grated Lemon Peel.
-Lemon Juice.
-Salt and Pepper.
-Chopped Parsley.
How to prepare:-
-Prepare a large bowl and put the chicken in it, the various spices, half a spoonful of olive oil, lemon juice and lemon zest.
-Leave the chicken in the marinade for two hours.
-Prepare a pot and put the rest of the olive oil in it and add the onions, stirring until the onions wither.
-Add the marinated chicken pieces and chickpeas.
-Pour water over the mixture, and leave it on medium heat until it is ripe.
-Add a little corn oil to the maftoul and stir well.
-Remove the chicken from the broth and place a large strainer over the pot of broth.
-Put the maftoul in the strainer and cover it well with a clean kitchen towel.
-Leave the maftoul on the pot for about 15 minutes to steam.
-Take another saucepan and put a little olive oil in it.
-Add the maftoul with the flipping.
-Add the chicken broth, salt and pepper and leave it on a low heat until it softens.
-Bring a large plate and put the maftoul in it.
-Add chicken with chickpeas.
-Garnish it with chopped parsley.
