Bathitha


Ingredients:-
-100 Grams of Chopped Nuts.
-200 Grams of All-Purpose Flour.
-1 Teaspoon Vanilla.
-Half a cup of Butter.
-200 Grams of Chopped Dates.
-1 Teaspoon Ground Cardamom.
-Half a teaspoon of Ground Ginger.
-A sprinkle of Coarse Sugar to decorate.

How to prepare:-
-Fry the flour in a wide skillet over low heat for about ten minutes, until it turns light yellow.
-Add the butter to the flour and continue stirring for fifteen minutes over medium heat.
-Add vanilla, cardamom, ginger and nuts and keep stirring.
-Add dates to the mixture.
-Put the Bathitha in a suitable serving dish.
-Sprinkle with sugar and serve with Arabic coffee.
